The South Bay Arsenal defeated the Scranton Escape, 8-6. Earning player of the game honors was designated hitter Bhasin Maqbool, who went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Bud Eldridge got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 1 innings. Lou Cove was credited with the save for South Bay, his 7th of the season.
