Cats Bang Out 11-5 Win Versus Coronado
The Fort Worth Cats topped the Coronado Phantoms, 11-5, with designated hitter Masatake Ishii playing a big role. Ishii was 4-4 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 3 runs for the Cats in the win. Enrique Baldivía earned the save, his 3rd, for the Cats. With the win, the Cats have a record of 23-14.

Graham Verney had a big run-scoring double for the Cats in the bottom of the second inning. With Fort Worth leading 4-3 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Alberto Rivera and stroked the double to left. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cats ahead, 5-3.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager José Parra said.
