Amarillo right-hander Ken Heida helped his team edge Scranton by the score of 3-2. Heida kept the opposing lineup in check. Octávio Mendoza earned the save, his 4th. The Horseman, now 20-11, have been playing some good baseball.

António Villarreal contributed an important at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat that helped send Amarillo to the win.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Heida, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
