Beavers Pick Up 8-3 Win
The Portland Beavers defeated the San Francisco Earthquakes, 8-3, at Golden Gate Park. Portland left fielder Vihaan Vedant was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Clayton O'Neil was the winner. Over 5 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 2 hits, with 5 walks and 5 strikeouts. The win takes Portland to 8-7.

A defensive miscue in the top of the eighth cost the Earthquakes. With Portland leading 4-3, Phillip Lewis reached on an error by the P, driving in 1 run. Portland ended up winning the ballgame.

"We swung the bats pretty good throughout the lineup," said Portland skipper Ryan Blandford.
