Bombers Fall to .500 After Loss to Marauders
|
Maple starter Robinson Pedercini had a strong outing against the South Carolina Bombers at Bomber Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. Pedercini went 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 8 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 1-1. Adrien Clément closed the game out for Maple, earning his 1st save.
George Soucy contributed to the Maple win. The two-time Most Valuable Player Award winner stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the second. For the game, Soucy went 2-4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs.
"If we keep winning the close games" said Soucy, "we'll be in good shape at the end."
With the loss, South Carolina sinks to 8-8.
