A nice crowd turned out to see the Indian Wells Aeropostales and Silver Lake Baristas clash at Stars Field.
Juan Salgado left his imprint on the 9-2 Indian Wells win against the Silver Lake Baristas. Salgado, who is tied for 5th in the KSL in runs scored with 23, went 1 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The loss drops Silver Lake to 15-15.
Indian Wells took the lead in the bottom of the sixth when Salgado hit a grand slam home run. His 5th home run of the season made the score 6-2, Indian Wells.
"I like winning," Salgado told the Indian Wells Bulletin. "I may joke around, but when it comes down to it, winning is the most important thing."
