Scranton pitcher Greg Finley did his part in helping his team beat the Coronado Phantoms, 3-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Phantoms, now 14-13, continue their slow start.
Bryan Battle had a clutch at-bat with no one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Escape. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Scranton trailing 1-0, he hit a 3-run home run.
"We're a pretty talented bunch when we're playing well," said Finley. "I think we showed that here."
