The skies opened up and the rain fell at Bulldog Stadium.
Benefiting from Teh-huai Thum's productive game, the Wichita Wranglers downed the Silver Lake Baristas, 9-6. Thum was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times for the Wranglers. Osamu Kobayashi earned the win for Wichita. He lasted 5.2 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 4 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 2-0.
