Fans who gathered at LaGrave Field saw a good contest between the Mdewanketon Sabercats and Fort Worth Cats.

The Fort Worth Cats got a sterling performance from pitcher Zak Bodle, but the Sabercats still prevailed, 4-3. Bodle was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 8 innings of 5-hit ball. Mdewanketon reliever Shi-fa Wong picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Trey Burrell shouldered the loss.

The most critical at-bat came in the top of the ninth inning. With two out, Roberto Moreno hit a 1-1 cutter from Trey Burrell for a 2-run triple. It put Mdewanketon in front, 4-2.

"It was a good effort all around," said Moreno.

The Sabercats raised their record to 11-11.
