The Fairfield Flash picked up a win at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, knocking off the Albuquerque Cacti, 6-5. Starting pitcher Kichibei Ozawa was an essential part of his team's success. Ozawa, the winner, moves to 3-1. He threw 6.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 2 walks. Teguh Suharto earned the save, his 6th, for the Flash.

Nicaragua-born Héctor De Jesús came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st and the Flash trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run home run to right-center to put Fairfield on top.

"Kichibei is still learning," said Fairfield Flash manager Gary Altman. "The sky's the limit for him."

The loss drops Albuquerque to 11-12.
