The Mdewanketon Sabercats and Wichita Wranglers brought some excitement to Mystic Lake Stadium.

The Wichita Wranglers got a stellar performance from pitcher James Morris, who handcuffed the Mdewanketon offense en route to a 8-2 win at Mystic Lake Stadium. In 7 innings, Morris surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 0. He allowed 2 runs.

A crucial at-bat came with the bases loaded and one out in the top of the first inning. That's when first baseman Craig Fern hit a 2-run single. The Wranglers went on to win.

"We'll savor this win," Morris told the Wichita News, "then get ready for the next game."

The Sabercats fall to 10-11 and continue their uneasy start to the 2028 season.
