Des Moines left fielder Bĺrd Tengesdal made his presence felt in the 7-3 Spartans triumph over the Coronado Phantoms. Tengesdal was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The winner was Hen-to Zhou, who threw 85 pitches over 5 innings.
