Rose Powers Prowlers to 6-2 Win
|
The Oklahoma City Prowlers stymied the Quebec Armada, 6-2, at Lucky 7 Ballpark. Wynn Rose, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He went 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Oklahoma City. The Prowlers, now 10-4, have been playing some good baseball.
With Oklahoma City leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Rose hit a sinker from Anandam Ramanathan for a run-scoring double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Prowlers ahead, 2-0.
"This team is real focused right now," said Oklahoma City Prowlers manager Jon Gander.
