Ito goes 4-for-5 to Power Baristas Offense
Silver Lake center fielder Nobuhisa Ito was instrumental in his team's 8-5 win over the Scranton Escape. Ito, who is tied for 7th in the KSL in doubles with 5, went 4-5 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Baristas. Jon Morris picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Melvyn Maisonneuve was tagged with the loss. Dost Ghuman was credited with the save for Silver Lake, his 2nd of the season.

Pedro Reyes helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring double to give Silver Lake a 1-0 lead.

Ito told the media after that game that the mood in the clubhouse is "extremely positive" after a win like that.

Scranton, at 4-10, is off to a poor start in 2028.
