Hornets Lose to Tornadoes, 6-4
|
The Kansas City Tornadoes topped the Eureka Hornets, 6-4, in Thurman Munson League action at Debris Field. The player of the game was Kansas City catcher Curt Hall. Gerard Kotas was the winning pitcher. Over 5.2 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, with no walks and 4 strikeouts. Michael Burton recorded his 5th save for Kansas City.
