The Bombers faced a stiff challenge from Maple pitcher Yasuhiko Ito, but persevered to claim a win at Bomber Ballpark. The final score was 6-5. Ito went 7.2 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. The winner was South Carolina reliever Reynaldo Soto, now 1-0. The loser was Bryce Hesketh. Anupradana Agarkar closed the game out for South Carolina, earning his 4th save.

In the bottom of the 8th, third baseman Paco Feliciano gave South Carolina the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Bombers had been trailing 5-4, but the two-out single off Maple pitcher Bryce Hesketh changed that -- and South Carolina went on to win.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Feliciano.

The win takes South Carolina to 8-7.
