The Acapulco Banditos racked up a win at Underdogs Ballpark, bumping off the Mdewanketon Sabercats, 7-3. José Aguirre, who started for Acapulco, pitched effectively for his team. Nick Riley got credit for the save for Acapulco. It was his 1st of the year. With the win, Acapulco elevates its record to 5-3.

Acapulco center fielder Bill Wilcox helped the Banditos go up, 2-0, in the bottom of the second inning. With the game tied, Wilcox hit a 2-run home run off Mdewanketon pitcher Marcos Marino.

"We're in a marathon, not a sprint," said Wilcox. "But I like how we're playing right now."
