Late Rally by Sabercats Secures Win
The Mdewanketon Sabercats knocked off the Acapulco Banditos, 7-5, at Underdogs Ballpark. Ramiro Chávez, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Mdewanketon won. The left fielder went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Mdewanketon reliever Bradley Bowra picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Ralph Bergeron took the loss. Juan Quezada was called on to finish, recording his 1st save.

This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the ninth, Britt Mayes hit a sacrifice fly. The Sabercats took the lead, 6-5.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Mayes said after the game.

The win gives the Sabercats a record of 4-3.
