Negrón Powers Arsenal to 13-9 Win
|
South Bay third baseman Juan Negrón was a significant contributor in his team's 13-9 triumph over the Wichita Wranglers. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for South Bay. The Arsenal are off to a tough start, getting just their 3rd win in 8 games.
Toronto, Canada-born Camden Mansel came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the third, with the bases loaded and the Arsenal trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run single to center to put South Bay on top.
"It feels good to get that win," said Mansel. "Now it's on to the next one."
