It was a fun time at Blue Ivy Stadium, where the Portland Beavers and Brooklyn Black Knights tangled.
Kata Nishikawa was instrumental in his team's 8-2 triumph over the Portland Beavers. The center fielder hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Brooklyn Black Knights. Brooklyn now has a 3-game win streak.
David O'Farrell provided some punch for the Black Knights. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd and Brooklyn trailing 2-0, he lit into a curveball from Pedro Pérez, sending it out of the park. The 3-run homer put the Black Knights up, 3-2.
O'Farrell said afterward that he was glad to help his team win.
