The Portland Beavers blasted the Georgia Grays, 20-0, at Waterfront Park. Portland third baseman Anuvaha Tasha was named player of the game for his productive day. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 7. Daryl Harrison picked up the win with 8.2 innings of work. He allowed no earned runs on 6 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 4. On the season, he is now 10-7. The Beavers saw their record improve to 68-70.
Tasha provided the big break for the Beavers in the bottom of the third inning. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run, helping Portland to get the win.
