Jacobse Slams 5 Hits for Mile High
|
Eddy Jacobse exploded for a barrage of base hits today at The Frozen Tundra. The Mile High left fielder had a field day against the Minnesota Berserkers, finishing with a 5-for-6 day, even as his club took the loss, 3-2.
"It's a shame that we lost the game," he said later. "It's really hard to enjoy what I did today. You would think 5 hits would do it."
Eddy Jacobse doubled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th and singled in the 12th.
This year Jacobse is batting .334 with 3 home runs and 30 RBIs.
