Zhang Lays Hammer Down in 8-0 Win
The Las Vegas Gamblers got their 2028 season off and running with a win over the Minnesota Berserkers at The Ballpark at Potomac Yard . The final score was 8-0. Las Vegas pitcher Ze-dong Zhang was named player of the game.

Zhang tossed 125 pitches over 8.2 innings to clinch the win for the Gamblers. The left-hander allowed just 5 hits, while racking up 12 strikeouts in the game.

"I liked his command," said Las Vegas manager Jesús Alfaro. "Ze-dong was throwing strikes."
