Earthquakes Come Up Short at Jacksonville
|
The Jacksonville Jacks eked out a 4-3 win versus the San Francisco Earthquakes at Skellington Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Ray Weeks, who captured player of the game honors. Earning his 26th save of the year was Hariz Sahir. The 4th-place Jacks improved to 71-64.
One of the key players for the Jacks was second baseman Avatsara Sangameswar, who drilled a 3-run home run in the bottom of the third inning. For the game, Sangameswar went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Weeks.
