In a low-scoring clash between Las Vegas and So Cal, pitcher Fred Butler was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for Las Vegas in the 2-1 win. The win was Bernalldo Rocchi's in relief. His record improves to 7-2. Soleh Purbacaraka took the loss for So Cal. The Gamblers now have a record of 74-61.

Kawanari Takahashi was the walk-off hero for Las Vegas. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Las Vegas center fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"Runs were at a premium," said Las Vegas manager Jesús Alfaro.
