Jersey starter Alejandro García turned in a competent performance at The Danger Zone as his team beat Duke City, 5-4. García picked up the win for Jersey, going 8 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. The save went to Ron Anderson, his 2nd this season.

Jersey took the lead in the top of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 2nd, Merrill Burnett stroked a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Jesters.
