Codebreakers Rally to Eke Out Win
|
The Dallas Texans got a superb performance from pitcher Dan Edwards. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Columbus. The Codebreakers won the game, 2-1. In spite of the loss, Edwards was named the player of the game. He threw 8 innings of shutout ball. Pat Ashe converted his 9th save in 11 tries. The Texans, at 56-75, have lost 4 straight games.
The Texans wasted a true gem from Edwards, who struck out 7 and held the Codebreakers without an earned run over 8 innings.
