Tornadoes Prevail, 4-2, Over San Francisco
|
António Medrano pitched well, but the San Francisco Earthquakes still lost the game, falling 4-2 to the Kansas City Tornadoes at Debris Field. Kansas City currently is in third place in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division at 67-65.
The Tornadoes took the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the seventh. Tsunayoshi Tanaka had the clutch at-bat. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 2 runs.
After the game, Kansas City manager Alex Woods applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
