The Duke City Danger relied on the hitting of first baseman Bradley Wolfe to stop the New York Mafia, 7-5. For the game, Wolfe went 2-2 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Leonardo Reynoso in relief. His record improves to 5-2. Kunihiko Mizuno took the loss. The Danger go to 71-59, putting them third in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.
The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the ninth, with Duke City trailing 5-4, Wolfe belted a fastball from Kunihiko Mizuno for a 3-run home run, sending the Danger to a dramatic walk-off win.
"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Wolfe.
