Ruíz has 4 hit night as Codebreakers Squeeze Past Dallas
Esteban Ruíz added some punch to the Columbus offense, helping them outmuscle the Dallas Texans, 9-8. In the game, Ruíz, who is tied for 6th in the RCL in extra base hits with 52, went 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Pat Ashe got the save, his 8th in 10 chances. The Codebreakers saw their record improve to 67-62.

Columbus slugger Tokutomi Kogawa had a big at-bat with one out in the top of the ninth. With a runner on 2nd, he connected on a fastball from Harsha Majoo for a 2-run home run. His 23rd home run of the season put Columbus in front, 9-8.
