Ange Schmit was superb against Duke City. The left-hander, who leads the TML with a 10.6 K/9 rate, had a slider that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a 3-2 Bombers victory. Earning his 35th save of the year was Anupradana Agarkar. The third-place Bombers have won 5 in a row.

Schmit was effective for South Carolina, seldom allowing the Danger to square up a pitch. The left-hander tossed 113 pitches over 7.1 innings. He limited Duke City to just 1 run on 3 hits.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Schmit told the South Carolina News.
