Dallas second baseman Toshinobu Noro had a terrific game. He was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. San Francisco beat the Texans, 6-4. Noro was named the player of the game despite the loss. Lonnie Powell finished the game for San Francisco and earned his 5th save. With the victory, the Earthquakes record now stands at 77-52.

With one out in the top of the first, Adam Kerr drilled a 2-run home run to left-center. It put San Francisco ahead, 2-0. For the game, Kerr was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Kerr told the San Francisco Today.
