Toreros Fall to .500 After Loss to Gamblers
The Las Vegas Gamblers did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Cabo San Lucas Toreros at Field de Los Layendas. Nobody did more than pitcher Allen Cox, who captured player of the game honors. The Gamblers bumped their record to 71-57 with this latest triumph.

Chris Magee delivered a big hit for the Gamblers. The veteran third baseman belted a 2-run home run in the top of the second. The longball put Las Vegas on top, 3-0. Overall, Magee went 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

After the game, Las Vegas manager Jesús Alfaro applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
