Wu Goes Off, But Grays Win
Columbus catcher Run-ming Wu had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-6, to Georgia at Central Park Downtown Stadium. Wu slugged 2 home runs. Wade White was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 5 runs on 10 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts. Chung Chio picked up the save for Georgia, his 1st of the year.

The Codebreakers had been locked in a 5-5 tie with the Grays going into the top of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old shortstop Jarek Domaszewski came to the plate. Domaszewski hit a solo home run on a full count fastball from Columbus hurler Greg Finley. It was Domaszewski's 18th home run of the year.

"It feels good, just a great win all around," Domaszewski said after the game.

The second-place Grays are now 70-58, the Codebreakers 66-61.
