The Omaha Titans and New York Mafia put on a pitchers' duel at Don Corleone Park.

Ronald Lee could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his New York Mafia lost, dropping a 1-0 decision to the Omaha Titans at Don Corleone Park. The win was Si-hun Park's in relief. His record improves to 2-3. Ronald Lee took the loss for New York. Bill Daniels got the save, his 23rd in 24 chances.

The Titans got a lift from second baseman Tofeeq Kuchis who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning off Ronald Lee. It was his 29th RBI of the season and put Omaha in front, 1-0.

"We came out with the short end of the stick," said New York skipper Roberto Campos.
