Hitmen Lose, 5-1, at The Ballpark at Potomac Yard

The Las Vegas Gamblers racked up a win at The Ballpark at Potomac Yard , bumping off the Chicago Hitmen, 5-1. Theodore Foster, who started for Las Vegas, pitched effectively for his team. The Gamblers bumped their record to 69-56 with this latest triumph.
Chris Magee brought the hometown crowd to its feet with two out in the bottom of the second. That's when the 33-year old third baseman belted a 2-run home run. With the round-tripper, the Gamblers took the lead, 2-0.
"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Las Vegas Gamblers manager Jesús Alfaro, "I like our chances."
