Black Knights Win at Minnesota, 8-6
|
The Brooklyn Black Knights had to overcome a big game from Minnesota catcher Masamune Tanaka to leave The Frozen Tundra with a 8-6 victory. Tanaka went 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk. Brooklyn is now 65-61.
One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the sixth inning. Facing Minnesota hurler José Ochoa, Ernest Vance hit a run-scoring single. The Black Knights went on to win.
"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Diego Aguirre.
