10-9 Sasquatch Win over Republic Evens Season Record
|
The Seattle Sasquatch and So Cal Republic obliged those fans who came to Sick's Stadium hoping for an exciting game.
Shadi bin Mufeed did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the So Cal Republic from losing, 10-9, to the Seattle Sasquatch at Sick's Stadium. bin Mufeed went 4-4 with a triple, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. Seattle reliever Troy Dyer was the winner. His record is now 3-2. Tanner Johnson took the loss. Earning his 5th save for Seattle was Coco Yamashita.
Lee Jones contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat that helped Seattle get the win.
"Glad to see the fans get into it," said Jones.
The Sasquatch, now 62-62, have won 4 in a row.
