Gamblers Win at Brooklyn, 7-5
Sean Brooks was instrumental in his team's 7-5 triumph over the Brooklyn Black Knights. The left fielder was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 runs for the Las Vegas Gamblers. Bernalldo Rocchi recorded his 27th save for Las Vegas. The third-place Gamblers improved to 68-55.

Las Vegas designated hitter Roberto Torres changed the complexion of the game in the top of the sixth. That's when he belted a 3-run home run off Jan Shirazi. His 20th home run of the season put Las Vegas in front, 4-3.

Torres told a Las Vegas Chronicle reporter that he was "very satisfied" with the win.
