Nick Robertson was the difference-maker for the Dallas Texans in what turned into a shootout with the Seattle Sasquatch. Robertson earned the player of the game award after going 4-for-5 in the 13-9 Texans win. Paul Johnston was the winner. Over 7 innings, he allowed 6 runs on 8 hits, with 4 walks and 4 strikeouts. The Texans, now 2-0, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Also making an impact was center fielder Toby Chave, who drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning for the Texans. For the game, Chave was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Robertson said.
