Wu Lifts Codebreakers to 6-5 Win
The Columbus Codebreakers did just enough to sneak past the Portland Beavers, 6-5, at Labatt Bleue Park. Columbus catcher Run-ming Wu earned player of the game honors. Manny Palma closed the game out for Columbus, earning his 6th save. The Codebreakers, now 9-3, have been playing some good baseball.

Wu turned the game around in the bottom of the eighth. That's when the Columbus catcher dialed up a 2-run home run. Just like that, Columbus's 5-4 deficit turned into a 6-5 lead.

"I like to lead by example," said Wu. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
