The Brooklyn Black Knights and starting pitcher Wilson Deleón stifled the Las Vegas offense en route to a comfortable 8-2 win at Blue Ivy Stadium. Brooklyn occupies 4th place in the Roberto Clemente League William Atteberry Division at 63-58.
Deleón, who was born in Bogota, Colombia, threw 115 pitches over 7.2 innings, while allowing no earned runs.
"We'll keep our chins up and get ready for the next game," said losing manager Jesús Alfaro.
