Wang Delivers 3-1 Win
|
In a tight battle between the Oklahoma City Prowlers and the Minnesota Berserkers, pitcher He-ping Wang was in the zone. The Oklahoma City right-hander was named the player of the game in Oklahoma City's 3-1 win. The Prowlers, now 8-4, have played some good baseball in the early going.
Wang was effective for Oklahoma City, seldom allowing the Berserkers to square up a pitch. The right-hander tossed 113 pitches over 8 innings. He limited Minnesota to just 1 run on 2 hits.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Minnesota manager Jerry Miller.
