Havana Stogies starter Peter Miner turned in a top-notch performance against the Minnesota Berserkers at The Humidor. The result was a win for the Stogies, 7-2. The first-place Stogies now have a win-loss record of 67-53.

Chong-yeol Pak went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles for Havana. In the bottom of the fourth, with the teams deadlocked, 1-1, Pak delivered for the Stogies. His run-scoring ground out put Havana on top, 2-1.

"We had a nice day," said Havana skipper Reynaldo Vázquez.
