Jacks Stumble, Lose to Toreros
|
The Cabo San Lucas Toreros picked up a win at Skellington Stadium, knocking off the Jacksonville Jacks, 8-2. Starting pitcher Joe Good, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Good went 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 9-6. The 'W' lifts Cabo San Lucas's record to 59-59.
Gerardo Rosa's at-bat in the top of the first was significant for the Toreros. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Cabo San Lucas leading 1-0, the third baseman reached on an error by the SS, driving in 2 runs.
