Earthquakes Get Win, Extend Streak to 4
|
San Francisco and Bloomington duked it out at Celestrial Fields at Hermann Park and the Earthquakes came out victorious.
San Francisco turned a good effort from starter António Medrano into a win over the Bloomington Blazers at Celestrial Fields at Hermann Park. The final score was 4-1. Bloomington's current losing streak has reached 5 games.
Tokaji Sato's at-bat in the top of the sixth was significant for the Earthquakes. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and San Francisco leading 1-0, the catcher hit a sacrifice fly.
"We're feeling pretty good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Medrano told the San Francisco Today.
