Bombers Continue Skid Thanks to Clark, Sasquatch
|
Seattle beat South Carolina in a rain-soaked ballgame.
The Seattle Sasquatch defeated the South Carolina Bombers, 10-4, in Roberto Clemente League action at Bomber Ballpark. Matt Clark received player of the game honors. The 8-year veteran belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5. Koryusai Uchida earned the win to go to 1-2. He allowed 4 earned runs on 11 hits, with no walks and 5 strikeouts.
Clark belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5 against the Bombers. In the top of the first inning, he hit a 3-run home run that scored 3 and put Seattle in front, 3-0.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Clark. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
The Bombers, now 6-6, continue their sluggish start.
