Sasquatch Get 3-1 Win Versus Dallas
|
Metroplex Park was the site of a tense game between the Dallas Texans and Seattle Sasquatch.
The Seattle Sasquatch got a magnificent effort from pitcher Koryusai Uchida, who kept Dallas hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Sasquatch win at Metroplex Park. The winning pitcher was Uchida, now 10-11. He tossed 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 2.
In the top of the fifth, Martin Waller muscled up and hit a solo home run. It put Seattle ahead, 1-0. For the game, Waller was 1 for 4 with a home run.
"There are times you get yourself out and there are times you come through," Waller said. "That's how it goes."
The Sasquatch raised their record to 56-60.
