Big Game from Pakpahan Not Enough, Patriots Lose
The Manhattan Beach Patriots got a superb performance from designated hitter Bagaskoro Pakpahan. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Portland. The Beavers won the game, 12-9. In spite of the loss, Pakpahan was named the player of the game. He belted 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times. Pedro Pérez got the win, improving to 5-8. He worked 6.2 innings, giving up 4 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 1. The Beavers go to 55-59, putting them 5th in the Thurman Munson League Sparky Anderson Division.

Anuvaha Tasha helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a run-scoring double to give Portland a 1-0 lead.
