Terry Hill pitched a good game, but his team, the Havana Stogies, still dropped a 1-0 decision to the Oklahoma City Prowlers at Memorial Circle Park. Lewis Portsmouth got the win, improving to 4-6. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 7 hits and no runs, while striking out 4 and walking 0. The 'W' lifts Oklahoma City's record to 51-62.

William Lee brought the hometown crowd to its feet with one out in the bottom of the fifth. That's when the former first round draft pick belted a solo home run. With the round-tripper, the Prowlers took the lead, 1-0.
